Start with one opportunity and one next action. This guide is public; workspace links require sign-in, current product access and membership in the company whose work you are opening. Explore the fictional product example before signing in.

Five steps to a useful team handoff

  1. Confirm the company before you start.

Open Company & people and check the active company. Its profile, matches, review statuses, assignments and work items are shared. Review the company profile with someone who has editing access so it reflects what the business actually does. Personal watchlists, deadline alerts and digest preferences stay your own.

  2. Review the match, then open the official source.

In Discover opportunities, apply your filters and open a notice. Read its match reasons, then verify the response deadline, amendments, attachments and instructions at the official source. A score prioritizes review; it does not verify eligibility, certification or capacity.

  3. Add the work and make ownership clear.

Track the notice in Team work. For a SAM.gov item, use its source-review page to update the shared assignment and review status. Owners and Admins can assign teammates; Reviewers can claim unassigned work or clear their own assignment. Viewers can read, but cannot edit.

Use a manually added opportunity for a private record your team maintains. It is not a public match, is not scored and is not automatically monitored.

  4. Save a specific next action and an internal date.

Instead of “Look into this,” write “Ask Jordan to confirm delivery lead times.” Set an internal due date for that action and save the work item. The internal due date is your team’s planning date—not the official source response deadline.

Keep permitted, non-sensitive reference material in Company documents. A review date is a prompt for a person to check a file, not proof that it is current or approved. Check the data-handling boundaries before uploading.

  5. Return to the queue, not to a fresh search.

At the next check-in, open My work, Due today or Overdue work below. Review unassigned items and missing next actions before adding more work. Check the in-app What changed? queue for recorded SAM.gov field changes, then confirm the official posting again.

Imports are periodic and may be delayed or incomplete. Recorded changes do not inspect attachment contents or detect a replaced file at the same URL.

Open the queue you need

These links start fresh views for your active company. Team-work filters apply across the company’s queue before pagination, not just the visible page. Date shortcuts use internal due dates, never the source response deadline.

My work

Start with work assigned to you.

Due today

Review today's internal team deadlines.

Keep your place when something goes wrong

No results in a work queue

Check the active company and the applied filters. Return to all active team work to remove those filters. Archived work is separate from active work. An error loading records is not evidence that the company has no work.

A save fails or a teammate changed the item

Keep the form open and read the error. Your unsaved edits are not confirmed company data. Copy important edits before closing, then reopen the latest saved item and reconcile the change. Do not assume a recovered draft has been saved.

You cannot assign a teammate or edit an item

Check your company role and ask the teammate to complete their profile name. An Owner or Admin can help with membership and assignments. Do not create a duplicate record to work around access restrictions.

Do not upload classified information, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), export-controlled material, restricted CPARS/source-selection information, credentials or sensitive personal data. Private storage does not classify or approve a file.
